Windows Vista has been available for a while now, but still lots of people are using Windows XP on their machines, either due to limitations of their computer, an enforced corporate IT policy or simply personal preference.  I still use Windows XP, but it can be a bit slow at times, especially on older machines full of videos and images.  Below are 8 ways to improve the performance of an aging XP machine.
