Nintendo To Release a Wii Wireless Router

I’ve just read that Nintendo are entering into the Wi-Fi router market.  After realising that people with wired connections are stuffed when it comes to connecting to the web with their Wii’s and DS’s, Ninty have decided to produce a wireless router.

Styled in a manner similar to the Wii, the router will allow consoles to connect wirelessly to the net, as well as any other Wi-Fi enabled device.  There’s no word as to any other features that may be built into the unit.

Unfortunately, only a Japanese release has been scheduled so far, on September 18 for ¥5,800 (£31).  I hope this does become available over here, but I have my doubts.
